Characteristics

There are numerous variations of the electronic cigarette in the market today. How can you determine which one is the best one for you?

1. How do I know how much vapor can it can produce?

Not all electronic cigarettes are built the same. Some electronic cigarettes can generate an insane amount of vapor like a hookah pipe, while some produce barely any vapor. The only way you know how much vapor your electronic cigarette is going to produce is by watching a video demonstration of the actual product. Don't buy into the scheme of exaggerated descriptions. Read or watch reviews and know exactly what you're getting. You don't want your experience to be ruined simply because you purchased a low quality electronic cigarette.

2. What is the battery life? Will it last me throughout the day?

What if your electronic cigarette doesn't last through out the day? You need your electronic cigarette ready and available at all times just like you have your pack of cigarettes and a lighter handy at all times. The general rule is that the smaller the device is, the shorter the battery life. This means that you should really avoid electronic cigarettes that is the same size of a real cigarette, unless you don't mind the short battery life.

3. What is the cut-off time?

Cut-off time is the amount of time you can inhale on the electronic cigarette before it reaches it's cooldown. Ideally you would want a high cut-off time; suppose your device features a 3-second cut-off time, it means the atomizer will work for only 3 consecutive seconds before reaching a cooldown period. If are someone who likes to inhale long, and exhale a cloud of vapor, you will need at least a 5-7 second cut-off time.

4. Automatic or Manual?

Just like cars, electronic cigarettes come in auto or manual. Automatic means that when you inhale on it, it automatically triggers the atomizer and creates that vapor. Manual means that the device has a button that you need to press and hold on to while inhaling. Well why would anyone want a manual style? It offers a longer cut-off time (or unlimited) than an automatic style, and a sealed design meaning liquids cannot leak from atomizer to the battery (common accident)

5. Draw? Flavor? Throat Hit?

Electronic cigarettes come in different atomizer shapes and thus even with the exact same liquid, the draw, flavor, and the throat hit is actually different for every model. This is the main reason why e-smokers own different types of electronic cigarettes, as each and every model gives a unique experience. We generally try our best to explain these traits in our product descriptions to help you make your decision.

6. Replacement Costs

Electronic cigarettes are not built to last forever. A typical lifespan of a battery is a 6-8 months, and a typical lifespan of an atomizer is 3-4 months. This is a proven fact that many sellers DO NOT tell you. Now that you know, be aware of the prices of the replacement batteries and atomizers if you are planning to purchase a starter kit from a seller. If you happen to purchase from us and your electronic cigarette quit working, just send it back to us and we will send you a brand new one as longest you are within the warranty period.
